TRIPLE J RANCH
2010 HUNTING DATES AND PRICES

The Triple J Ranch consists of 8,000 prime elk and mule deer hunting acres with extensive habitat improvements. It is easily accessed by vehicle or foot and has a very high harvest rate. Most of the hunting is done by tower or ground blinds with some spot and stalk. Thisis more of our executive or corporate type hunt where the lodging is right on the ranch. The ranch is secluded and a great place to get away from it all with a second to none hunt. The ranch has been featured on many outdoor TV shows. This is a fully guided hunt with 2 hunters to 1 guide and includes meals and lodging. The lodge has all the comforts of home with Direct TV, hot showers, home style meals, land-line phone, etc.

*Fall Bear Hunts available during any Rifle Season (Colorado Division of Wildlife Law: You   must hunt elk or deer in conjunction with your bear hunt. Bear tags are available    Over-The-Counter during Rifle Seasons.)
*Mountain Lion/ Wild Merriam Turkey and Whitetail hunts also available.
*Prices DO NOT include tags (in 2009 they were $546 for out-of-state elk and $326 for   out-of-state Mule deer), meat processing and shipping, and/or taxidermy work.
*Applications for Draw Licenses are due postmarked the first part of April or easily apply   online at www.wildlife.state.co.us .All deer tags are by drawing only, some Private Land   Vouchers will be available for those who don’t draw. We will help you with the application   process.
*Silver Spur Outfitters will pick you up at either Grand Junction or Eagle/Vail Airports.

THE MAIN CAMP: STARBUCK LODGE

The Main Camp at the Starbuck Lodge is encompassed of several great hunting ranches (ranging from 500 acres to 4,000 acres) that we rotate around to. The ranches are in the middle of great game country with prime habitat, many have had habitat improvements expressly for game. We stay at the lodge and leave out by 4 wheel drive each morning to hunt the different ranches, this is a great hunt because we can rotate properties that we hunt, moving with the game and also giving them a rest to keep the game on our properties. This hunt is fully guided with 2 hunters to 1 guide and includes meals and lodging. The lodge is modern and has all of the conveniences of home with hot showers, home cooked meals, land line phone and Directv. This hunt has Great elk hunting and Second to None mule deer hunting.

HIGH COUNTRY CAMP
2010 HUNTING DATES AND PRICES

The High-Country Tent Camp is a horseback pack-in style hunt with a tent and/or cabin stay. The tent and cabin are warm and dry and rustic in the scenic and majestic Rocky Mountains. You may rotate around from the tent to the cabin as to stay closer to the game you are hunting. It is in unbelievable elk country with a 350+ class bull harvested here in the archery season of 2009. This is an awesome hunt for those looking for a horseback style hunt or for the hardcore hunter. You will pack in to camp the day before your hunt starts and pack out the day after it is over. Hunters provide their own food for this hunt and it is a joint effort for the cooking in camp with the guides and hunters. It is guided with 2 hunters to 1 guide.

Semi-Guided Archery, Muzzleloader & Rifle Hunts:  Motel stay or fully equipped camper or tent stay.  Camp and hunt on private land and have access to thousands of acres of public land. 1 guide per 4 hunters. Hunters must help pack game. No meals. Units 32/22 and unit 42.  $2500-$3000

Drop Camps:  Includes fully furnished tent camp or camper: Private and public land hunting. $1500

Mountain Lion Hunts: We team up with Jimmy McNamara of Gunsmoke Outfitters for our lion hunts. The season on Mountain Lions runs from the end of November through the end of March. These hunts run $4500 for 5 days. Contact us or Jimmy at 970-209-0399 or 970-240-8817 for more information.
